I miss Texas....really bad......

It kills me to talk to my friends or my SIL because I miss being with them. Mckenna misses her little friends. And I really miss all the fun things to do (especially because we had already paid for all of the season passes, haha).

BUT Arizona has been FABULOUS!

Seriously I have gotten to know the greatest ladies out here. Most I had met before or "knew" from blogland and Facebook, but they have just welcomed me like an old friend. It has been AMAZING. THANK YOU GIRLS FOR MAKING THIS TRANSITION SMOOTHER FOR ME :-) Mckenna has loved her new friends too. Yay!

He is actually ALMOST 11 months now, cue the crying sound.... I can't stand how much he is growing up. He crawls like a monster, pulls himself up on everything, LOVES toys, makes the biggest messes, fell down the stairs at our new house TWICE in our first week (oh the curiosity) AND he LOVES to snuggle! What a sweet boy!! I love him so much. He is the perfect amount of squishy for me. The ladies in our ward (church) here in AZ LOVVVVE him! They all want to hold him during Relief Society!

Reusable Snack Bags

Here are the snack bags...

I am in love with them! I have already used them several times! The best part is you can wash them in the washing machine OR just wipe it out and let it air dry.

Many more projects to come in the next few weeks!!!

Pure Mckenna. I am nuts about this little girl. She says the funniest things and always looks adorable (even when her hair is wild and she won't let me do it). Also, please notice how WHITE she is. She is not wearing tights, she really is just that white! Ha. Well, enjoy!

On Another Note...

I LOVE feeling creative and doing crafty things. Sometimes I think I should go back to school to do something in a more creative field (not that teaching isn't creative, I just have absolutely NO desire to be in the classroom...ugh!)

I think I have a new project put on my "TO DO" list every week.

This weeks is REUSABLE Snack Bags. We have been FLYING through Ziploc bags like cRazY! They are so convenient, but after awhile they are so expensive and super wasteful. I am starting them tomorrow. So excited! They are machine washable with a zipper closure and are food safe (no BPA, etc). Woohoo! Can't wait!

We are Arizona bound as of the end of January...

We have found a FABULOUS family to rent our home for a couple of years!!! Jeff is starting the spring semester at ASU. AND this all came together in a matter of like two weeks.

We are SO sad to be leaving San Antonio and will miss SOOOOO much about being here! It is definitely a bittersweet thing for our family. We know it is what we should be doing for our family at this time, but of course that doesn't make it that much easier!

For all ya'll in AZ...I am on a search for some good friends :-) I am leaving behind the GREATEST group of women, ahhh, and need some good replacements!! :-)

We hung out at Cathedral Rock Park for a little bit last night. Mckenna was in heaven! I love little moments like these!
